CYS Group, Inc. is a photography company founded on the principle of celebrating life through digital imaging and fashion photography. Founded in 2012, CYS quickly became an industry leader in the world of photography. Located in the rural college town of Pullman, Washington but photographing across the nation, CYS creates lasting memories for each and every client.
CYS Group, Inc. currently encompasses two brands: Creative Image and Celebrate Your Sexy. Celebrate Your Sexy is currently CYS Group, Inc’s largest and fastest-growing brand.
The Founders
CYS Group, Inc. originally started as Creative Image Portrait Design – founded in 1986 by husband and wife team Scott and Laurie Barrie. With nearly 33 years of experience in the photography industry, the awards and recognition have been numerous. Throughout his career, both national and international awards have been bestowed upon Scott’s work – the most prestigious being selected and displayed in Epcot at Walt Disney World. While Scott was selected as one of the top 50 wedding photographers in the country, it’s the 30+ years of photographing families, high school seniors, and clients from around the Inland Northwest and West Coast that is a true testament to his talent and passion for photography.

Scott Barrie
CEO/President
As a co-founder, Scott brings over 30 years of experience in business and retail strategy, industry leadership, executive management, and photography, which has allowed him to build a local business from a small mom and pop operation into a nationwide market leader, known as CYS Group Inc. Scott holds a B.A. in Communications from Washington State University and has multiple business and marketing certifications. As a visionary, he is passionate about creating what he would call a "Nordstrom" experience for all of his customers. Scott enjoys many extracurricular activities that include the great outdoors, traveling, motorcycles, playing music, and flying airplanes. Life is full and good as he enjoys time with his lovely wife, grown children, their spouses, and beautiful grandchildren.
Laurie Barrie
Vice President
Owner, Laurie, has been a part of the photography industry for over 30 years. With a degree in Arts and Sciences, she leads our team toward perfection in digital artistry, photo editing, and a passion to drive our team toward excellence in every aspect of our business. In her free time, Laurie enjoys time spent with her four grandchildren, gardening, gourmet cooking, reading, and enjoying adventures with her husband of 35 years, Scott.
Torrey Beeson
Customer Service Manager
Torrey manages our customer service team, working to ensure an exceptional customer experience for all of our clients. Pulling from her backgrounds in education, quality control, and project management, she is extremely organized and has a knack for swiftly mitigating any potential risk before it has even presented as a problem for her team. In her free time, Torrey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and large family potlucks and game days. Torrey studied Business Administration at Johnson & Wales University and holds a B.A. in elementary education from the University of Idaho.
Jennifer Joh
Photography Manager and Travel Coordinator
Jenn manages and coordinates our team of photographers who are distributed among our 30+ locations nationwide. She started her career at CYS as a part-time Customer Service Representative while still a college student and was eventually promoted to the management team. After graduating, she chose to stay with CYS to pursue her love of boudoir and to play an active role in helping women of all walks of life “celebrate their sexy” and promote female empowerment (go ladies!). Her hobbies range from exciting adventures like bungee jumping in Thailand to watching Netflix with her dog, Kaiser. Jennifer holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Washington State University.
Isabelli Greenfield
Production Manager
Isabelli oversees our production team and their activities – ranging from editing images to products design and printing. Originally from Brazil and with a background in quality control and food engineering, her analytical nature brings organization to a very busy and diverse department at CYS. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes and hosting people, also she loves traveling and going to new countries. Isabelli holds a Bachelor of Food Engineering from State University of Ponta Grossa and further studied quality control management at the University of Idaho.
Ashleigh Houser
Sales Manager
Ashleigh manages our team of Image Consultants. With a background in both sales and marketing, including over 4 years in sales management, she brings a well-rounded approach to her role. Originally from Florida, she fell in love with CYS and the local area and has settled here to raise her family. She’s a southern girl at heart who loves the ocean and her two tiny humans who are her whole world. Ashleigh holds a B.A. in Business Marketing from the University of Idaho.
Carrie Allen
Chief Operating Officer, SHRM-CP, PHR, CFE
Carrie leads our business with her 20+ years of experience in business operations, finance, recruiting, employee relations, benefits, salary administration, succession planning, performance management, and corporate training. She’s a problem solver and decision maker who effectively balances the needs of our employees with the mission and values of our organization. In her free time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, golfing, dirt bike riding, racing, and road tripping. Carrie holds a B.S. in Business Management from Colorado Technical University and an MBA from Washington State University.

Celebrate Your Sexy is a boudoir photography company comprised of an all-female team of professional photographers, image consultants, and digital artists who desire to see a change in the way women see themselves. We are passionate about challenging societal pressures through the empowering platform of boudoir photography. Our mission is to make each woman we photograph feel empowered, glamorous, and beautiful – inside and out.
